Who we are

The Golf Gift Co. is a UK personalised-gift studio operated by Craig Fearn, a UK sole trader, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. We are the data controller for the personal data described on this page.

Order details

Your name, email and delivery address are collected by Stripe at checkout and shared with our print partner (Gelato) solely to produce and deliver your order.

Your uploaded photo

Used only to generate your artwork preview and print. It's processed by an AI image model via OpenRouter — final renders use OpenAI's GPT-5.4 Image, with Google's Gemini 3.1 Flash Image used for the free style previews and as a fallback. We don't allow these providers to use your photo or artwork to train any model.

Your photo, previews and hi-res render are deleted automatically 30 days after upload, unless your order is still being produced. If you buy, the finished print file is kept only to fulfil your order and handle any reprint, and is deleted 90 days after your order is complete.

International transfers

OpenRouter and the AI providers it routes to (OpenAI, Google) are based in the US. Where your photo is processed there, we rely on the safeguards UK GDPR requires for transfers outside the UK (Article 44) — standard contractual terms such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how the site is used. It's cookieless, collects no personal data and doesn't track you across other sites.

Payments

Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time — email [email protected]. We respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
