Golf society day scorer
Type the course card once, then each player's handicap and scores. You get the leaderboard in Stableford points or net stroke play, with front and back nine, and one link to share in the group chat.
Sam Okafor wins with 39 points
| Place | Player | Hcp | Gross | Out | In | Points |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | Sam Okafor | 12 | 20 | 19 | 39 | |
| 2nd | Ann Barker | 18 | 88 | 19 | 19 | 38 |
| 2nd | Dev Patel | 9 | 79 | 20 | 18 | 38 |
| 4th | Jo Ellis | 24 | 97 | 18 | 17 | 35 |
Out and In are points on holes 1 to 9 and 10 to 18. A blank hole scores no points. Equal totals share a place: your competition's own terms decide a tie.

We don't save anything you type: it lives in the link in your address bar. Copy that link to share the leaderboard.
Put the scorer on your society's website
Paste this where your site takes HTML. The scorer runs in the box; the credit link must stay.

How to use it on the day
Copy the par and stroke index for each hole off the scorecard, in hole order. Then add one line per player: their name, a comma, their Playing Handicap, then their 18 gross scores. Put a dash where a player picked up or had no score. A plus handicap goes in as +2.
Pick Stableford or net stroke play. The table sorts as you type, so you can fill it in card by card as the groups come in.

How it is worked out
Handicap strokes go by stroke index: index 1 first, then 2, and round again above 18. Stableford points come from the net score against par, the same way as our Stableford calculator. The Rules say a player who does not hole out "gets zero points for the hole" (Rule 21.1b).
In net stroke play the winner has "the fewest total net strokes" (Rule 3.3a). A card with a hole left blank gets no total, because in stroke play a player who does not hole out is disqualified unless they put it right (Rule 3.3c).
Equal totals share a place. The Rules leave ties to the organiser: "the Terms of the Competition should say how ties will be decided" (Rule 3, Committee Procedures 5A(6)). So decide your tie rule before you tee off.
Which handicap to type
Type the Playing Handicap for the day, not the Handicap Index. Our handicap allowance calculator turns a Course Handicap into a Playing Handicap for each format.
